HiCo-ICS realizes flexible, efficient and economic software solutions for the creation, management, publication and communication of Interactive Electronic Technical Documentation (IETD).
The ability to integrate HiCo products into existing applications enlarges the range of applications for a company-wide all-in solution. The Training Series #2 offers trainings and practical workshops to gain a deep insight into the whole HiCo product portfolio.
In this lecture you will get a first insight into the entire HiCo-ICS product portfolio for the implementation of ETD/IETD projects.
The content provided will serve as valuable aid for decision-making for future projects, contracts and any investment in technical and logistic information systems.
In this lecture you will gain deep knowledge for the administration and configuration of all relevant products by HiCo-ICS to implement ETD/IETD projects.
The content provided will serve to get to know the interaction of the products even better and to be able to administrate the products according to the configuration requirements of the users.
In this training you will be trained to work with the HiCo ietdSuite® or HiCo iLS.Suite™, whereas the practical application of an IETD standard will be shown on the basis of a concrete example of a technical publication.
You will learn, together with our application specialits, all necessary preparatory operations (business rules, project organisation, etc.) to be able to create TechPub projects. Additionally you will get to know the provided processes, which can significantly simplify the activities of the project managers and process engineers.
During this Training authors and illustrators will be trained to work with the HiCo-ICS:Connector for Arbortext® Editor™. In this user-specific course you will get an insight into the management of projects, reporting and the processes of the HiCo iLS.Suite™. Furthermore you will get to know, together with our application specialits, the different authoring activities to create ETD/IETD with the aid of the HiCo-ICS:Connector for Arbortext® Editor™.
During this Training authors will be trained to work with S1000D® and the HiCo-ICS:Connector for Arbortext® Editor™. You will get insights into the most important Schemas/DTDs of S1000D® and how they are used within PTC Arbortext® Editor™. Together with our application specialits you will get an detailed insight in authoring activities to create ETD/IETD according to S1000D(R) within the HiCo-ICS:Connector for Arbortext® Editor™.
During this Training authors and project managers will be trained to work with S1000D® and the HiCo-ICS:Connector for Arbortext® Editor™. You will get insights into enhanced Schemas/DTDs of S1000D®. Additionally, you will learn the most important functions of the HiCo iLS.Suite™ for the enhanced Schemas/DTDs.
The HiCo X-Publisher® helps you to publish your documentation in different types of media. You will learn about the possibilities of the Publication Tool and the usage opportunities of the generated output. Based on your specific demands and ideas you will use all available processes to achieve your desired result. Beside a detailed application training you will have the possibility to create test publications and improvements.
During this training you will learn how to handle the HiCo X-Process® tools and you will get a detailed instruction to work with HiCo X-Process® on the basis of the especially developed HiCo process models. In addition to practical exercises, you will get a deep insight into the existing S1000D® processes (including your live data) from our process experts. Furthermore, the process characterization, error handling of the data and the administration are an integral part of this training. The aim of this course is to give all users an overview of the system architecture, the existing configuration possibilities and the administration, to subsequently explain the implemented Workflow-Packages (WfP) based on practical examples.
