HiCo and PTC join together for tekom Annual Conference 2010

Altogether 3351 professionals and corporate leaders, 178 exhibitors (67 from abroad) and various issues like XML-based editorial and content management systems, translation memory and terminology management systems, as well as tools for quality control and process management: this is the summary of the tekom Annual Conference 2010, which took place for the eleventh time at the Rhein-Main-Hallen in Wiesbaden, Germany from 3rd to 5th November.

In addition to lectures and workshops, the exhibitors presented numerous industry novelties and editorial services. Also HiCo, who presented the product portfolio KATIE-II at the joint booth with Parametric Technology Corporation, PTC (www.PTC.com). As long-time partner and VAR of PTC, foremost the Arbortext products of PTC and whose integration in the HiCo products for creation and management of technical publications according to S1000D and ATA iSpec2200, where in the focus of the presentations and of interest for the booth visitors.

The training and workshop program of the Training Academy Pannonia, the competence center of HiCo and ASN Aviation Service Network (www.AviationSN.de) for Technical Communication and Information Logistics, was presented as well.

tekom increasingly becomes an industry meeting also for visitors from outside of Europe. This year, foremost solutions from companies of China, India, Japan and South Korea were presented.

The tekom Annual Conference 2011 will take place from 18th to 20th October 2011, again in Wiesbaden.
