HiCo-ICS gains Fokker Aerostructures and Schiebel as new customers
HiCo-ICS is happy to welcome two new customers from the Aerospace industry: with long-established Dutch company Fokker Aerostructures and the innovative Austrian firm Schiebel based in Vienna, two leading companies from the international Aerospace industry were acquired as customers. As of now, both companies productively use the software products of HiCo-ICS in various projects.

Fokker Aerostructures participates in the development, construction and maintenance of international aviation program NH90 of NH Industries. Therefore, Fokker requires a reliable IT system which can be integrated in the existing IT system environment of the NH90 program. For this purpose, Fokker uses the HiCo iLS.Suite™ in productive operation. The focus thus is on the editorial creation, delivery and the integration of structured documents according to ASD S1000D® and Eurocopter specific DTDs into the Master-CSDB (Common Source Database) of the NH90 program.
Schiebel Elektronische Geräte produces the CAMPCOPTER® S-100, a worldwide unique “Unmanned Air System” for civil and military application. The modular design of the system and the necessity of the development of customer-specific documentation require a flexible and reliable IT solution for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). Due to these requirements, Schiebel decided in favor of the HiCo iLS.Suite™ and uses it for the creation of technical documentation and customer-specific print PDFs.
Additionally, Application Engineers of HiCo-ICS will actively support Schiebel at the structuring and modularization of the documentation according to ASD S1000D®.
