Singapore Airshow 2010 - An important step towards Asia for HiCo

Like with our other international fair appearences, HiCo again relies upon the competent support of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber and took part at the Singapore Airshow from February 2 - 7, 2010 at their joint booth in the Main Hall (E67).

Togehter with our network partner ASN Aviation Service Network GmbH from Hamburg, represented through Managing Directors Kai Ritter and Thomas Stein, HiCo CEO Werner M. Schadelbauer and HiCo Head of Software Development, Gebhard Maurer, presented the interested trade parties the solutions and services from HiCo and ASN for Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETP) according to international Standards S1000D and ATA iSpec2200. Examples for practical applications of the HiCo software products like the X-Browser™, which is in operation on-board of all Boeing 737 aircrafts from TUIfly (Hapag LLoyd) as an offline Browser solution within the Electronic Flight Bag, were presented live.

HiCo and ASN made capitol from the event, which is the most important trade fair for the aerospace industry after the Paris Airshow, by presenting the competences of both companies foremost for corporations from Asia. To ensure optimal support for future customers in Asia, making contacts with potential partner companies was also a major topic for HiCo and ASN at the Singapore Airshow.

From the numerous booth visitors, the visits from representatives of the Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA) of the Ministry of Defence in Singapore and of Reepha Radhakrishnan, Business Development Executive at Sakthi Aerospace Pte. Ltd from India, should be emphasized.
